{DES MOINES, Ia.} — Aliphine Tuliamuk finished eighth in the women's 5,000-meter run as the sophomore from Kepenguria, Kenya, competed during the third day of the NCAA Track and Field Finals.
Tuliamuk ran a sub-16 minute time of 15:51.37 to finish in the top-10 for the second time this week. Tuliamuk finished fifth in the women's 10,000-meter run on Wednesday.
Sheila Reid won the women's 5K, clocking in at 15:37.57.
Sophomore Tanya Friesen withdrew from day two of the heptathlon due to injury.
Senior Josh Crawford is the last remaining Shocker to compete at the NCAA Finals as he will jump at 11:05 a.m., in the men's triple jump competition.
