(WICHITA, Kan.) — DAY NINE- Saturday, June 11

The Wichita Riverfest began with a bang and ended with an even bigger BANG! The last day of the Riverfest had some incredible events to end the nine day long festival. Plus, the weather this evening was perfect!

The last concert of Riverfest was the Spirit AeroSystems Rockin' on the River concert at the Kansas Star Music Park. This concert was all about rock’n’roll and included several rock bands, such as: Little Smoke, Under Construction, SML Band, and F5. However, it was the featured artist of the evening, Eddie Money, who stole the show. Hundreds of people came out to see this rock legend. Eddie Money sang several of his rock classics that he made so popular including, “Take Me Home Tonight”, “Baby Hold On”, and “I Wanna Go Back”. He had the crowd going wild the entire hour and a half long performance. To view all of these hit songs that Eddie money sang tonight; go to my Facebook page at Casey Siebels - FetchToto Team.

The Airbus Americas firework finale was the final event of the 2011 Wichita Riverfest. This event began at 10:00 p.m. along the Arkansas River and attracted hundreds of excited individuals. Just like the firework show that took place on the first day, fireworks were shot off from three different locations. The fireworks were a spectacular sight to see and a great way to end the Riverfest’s nine day long entertainment and activities.
