WICHITA, Kan. — The commercials always say, "These guys are good!"

And in fun atmosphere like the Monday Shootout, the best the Nationwide Tour has to offer proved just how good they could be.

Former Wichita State Shocker Dustin Garza and his playing partner Kerry Kosmer found himself in a playoff with Woody Austin to win the whole thing.

Garza's playing partner, Wichita Country Club professional Kerry Kosmer chipped in on the final hole, putting the pressure on Woody to match.

And match he did. Chipping in to force another chip-off.

Less dramatics in the second round as Garza and Kosmer took home the trophy at Crestview.

"I couldn't wait for this event this week," said Garza. "I got a lot of love and support like I did in college. It's just great to be back in Wichita. I'm excited and hopefully it's a good week."

Garza has yet to make a cut this season on the Nationwide Tour and is hoping to jump start this season and his professional career at the Wichita Open.
