4) Local Car Show’s for Father’s Day
If your dad enjoys classic cars as much as mine does, then you'll want to bring him out to the car shows going on this Father's Day weekend. The car shows this weekend include everything from classic muscle cars, antique automobiles, motorcycles, drag races and much more. Why you should go: This is a silent auction in which several great items will be auctioned off, such as: jewelry, $100 gift baskets, gift certificates from Cocoa Dolce Artisan Chocolates, and much more. One gift that dad might especially love is an autographed basketball from the 2011 NIT Wichita State University Men’s Basketball team. This auction will be catered by Bubba’s Nekked BBQ and will include beer, wine, and other beverages. All proceeds for this event will go towards Families Together, Inc. which is an organization that offers support for families with children with special healthcare needs.
