Wings start to fill out roster

{WICHITA, Kan.} — The Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) added another MISL veteran to the squad by coming to terms with Frederico Moojen.  Moojen was named the MISL Rookie of the Year following the

2007-2008 season as a member of the New Jersey Ironmen.

Moojen's professional career started in 2007 when he was drafted by the Montreal Impact of the United Soccer League?s First Division (USL-1).  Moojen played 14 games for the Impact before suffering an injury.  In the fall of 2007, Moojen joined the New Jersey ironmen of the MISL where the team qualified for the playoffs and Moojen was named the league?s Rookie of the Year.

In the 2008 summer outdoor season, Moojen played for the Minnesota Thunder of USL-1.  Moojen split the 2008-2009 indoor season with the New Jersey Ironmen and Chicago Storm.  Moojen played the 2009 and 2010 outdoor seasons in Poland with GKP Gorzów Wielkopolski.

The Balneario Camboriu, Brazil native played collegiately at Lincoln Memorial University in 2005 and Clemson University in 2006.

"We are extremely pleased Frederico has agreed to showcase his talents wearing the orange and black of the Wichita Wings", says Wings head coach LeBaron Hollimon.  "We have gained a seasoned professional and another caliber player that gives us instant opportunity to be super successful."

The Wings will open training camp in mid-October with the first game sometime in November.
