WICHITA, Kan. — Stopping a four game losing skid with a win THursday night against Fort Worth, the Wichita Wingnuts head to St. Paul to try and get back to their winning ways.
Wingnuts once held a four game lead in their division and had the best record in the American Association, but that was before they traded away their best pitcher and lost 12 of their last 17 games.
Kyle Hinson gave up only seven hits and one earned run in their 6-1 victory over Fort Worth, closing out the series.
Rookie Chad Sherman gets the start tonight for the Wingnuts.
