Two hurt in Haskell County motorcycle crash

(SATANTA, Kan.) — A Tennessee man is flown to a Wichita hospital after a motorcycle accident Sunday in Haskell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says James G. O'Neal, Jr., and a passenger were riding a Harley with on U.S. 56 west of Satanta just before 7:20 Sunday evening. Investigators say O'neal drifted off the road into a ditch causing both riders to be thrown.

James O'Neal, Jr. was taken to a hospital in Satanta and then flown to a hospital in Wichita in critical condition. The passenger was taken to a hospital in Satanta. Both riders were wearing helmets.

Both O'Neal and the woman riding with him were from Maryville, Tennessee.
