Wingnuts win 4th in a row, beat El Paso 6-5

{WICHITA, Kan.} — The Wichita Wingnuts (25-20) won their fourth game in a row this afternoon beating El Paso (11-34) 6-5 at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.

Shortstop Josh Horn paced the Wingnuts' offense going 2-4 with 3 RBI.  Josh Workman and Jose Duran also added one RBI each.  

Wichita held a 6-3 lead going into the 8th inning when reliever Kendy Bautista got touched up for two runs to get the Diablos within one run.  Josh Dew was able to handle the pressure, however, striking out three in the final one and two-thirds innings to help give the 'Nuts their fourth win in a row.

Starter Chad Sherman went 5 and two-thirds for Wichita giving up 8 hits, 3 earned runs and striking out 2.

Wichita will finish up the four game series with El Paso tomorrow night at 7:05 and will then host Kansas City Friday and Saturday nights.
