{WICHITA, Kan.} — The Wichita Wingnuts suffered their second straight loss tonight falling 11-8 to the Kansas City T-Bones at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
Jorge Delgado and Mike Conroy both drove in runs in the bottom of the first as the 'Nuts took a 3-1 lead. Ryan Patterson hit another two-run home run, his second in as many nights, to give the Wingnuts a 5-1 lead after two innings.
Starter Justin Murray was solid in the first two innings for Wichita but the T-Bones jumped all over him in the third. A 7 run inning for Kansas City got Murray pulled out of the game and spelled doom for Wichita.
The 'Nuts tried to claw their way back into the game and came within one run but they weren't able to complete the rally. The series against Kansas City continues tomorrow night at 7:05 at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
