(DODGE CITY, Kan.) — It's one of the biggest events in southwest Kansas, and Dodge City Days 2011 gets ready for its 51st year.
This year's theme is "Harvest the Excitement". Organizers have been asking for community input on adding new programs, events and concerts.
This year will feature the traditional parade and rodeo, as well as events focusing on Hispanic culture in southwest Kansas like the Fiesta.
