(WICHITA, Kan.) — Emergency crews want Wichita drivers to avoid Hydraulic between Mt. Vernon and Pawnee after a car crashed into a pole in that area.
Police tell Eyewitness News the man in his 50s apparently had a heart attack while driving north on Hydraulic around 7:30 this morning.
He lost control of his car, veered across the median and into a utilty pole.
The he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
No one else was hurt.
