Russell County Fair- July 24th – July 30rd
The Russell County Fair will begin Sunday, July 24th with an Open Class Horse Show at 8:00 a.m. Other fair activities will include turtle & frogs races, fashion show, mutton bustin’, music, animal shows, children’s tractor pull, contests, food and more. Thursday, July 28th
The fair will conclude on Saturday, July 30th with an appreciation breakfast at 8:30 a.m. There will also be a flea market at 9:00 a.m. and mud run at 4:00 p.m. The fair will end 40 Miles of Bad Road at 8:00 p.m.

8:00-11:30 a.m. - Enter & Weigh 4-H Livestock, all Rabbits and Poultry, FFA & Vo-Ag Mechanics
8:00 a.m. - Judging of Exhibits in 4-H Building (4-H Building closed until 6:00 p.m.)
6:00 p.m. - 4-H Sheep Show followed by the Shepherd's Lead Contest Livestock Show Building
6:00-10:00 p.m. - 4-H Building open to public viewing
6:00-10:00 p.m. - Armory open, commercial booths and outside
6:00 p.m. - Turtle & Frog Races sponsored by Sunflower Bank

1:00 p.m. - Judging of 4-H/Open Floriculture
2:00 p.m. - Bucket Calf records due in Fair Office
5:00 p.m. - 4-H Bucket Calf Show followed by 4-H Beef Show, Livestock Show Arena
