Enrollment for USD 259 begins Thursday

July 27, 2011|Press Release from USD 259

(WICHITA, Kan.) — Enrollment for the 2011-12 school year is July 28 – 29 and August 1 – 3. Enrollment times for each school can be found at www.enroll.usd259.org. The first day of school for all students is August 17, with a half-day orientation for sixth- and ninth-grade students on August 16.

Returning parents with a Parent Assist log on account have the option of enrolling their children online, allowing them to complete standard enrollment forms, pay for enrollment fees and school meals, and fill out free and reduced price lunch forms from a computer. If parents don’t have a Parent Assist account, they will need to contact their child’s school.

Students who enroll online will have to come to the school to finish the enrollment process. The district is offering the online option to help streamline the enrollment process and cut down on printing as many enrollment forms.

Parents with students who are new to the Wichita Public Schools or who do not have a Parent Assist account will have to fill out the enrollment forms on paper. Parents can go online and print out the common enrollment forms and fill them out in advance. Other forms may be required at certain grade levels or schools and will be given to parents by the school.

  • Kansas Health Assessment form filled out by a family health care provider
