(WICHITA, Kan.) — A Wichita businessman forks over $10,000 for a glass of lemonade...but it wasn't just any lemonade.
George Holland bought a glass of lemonade from a group of students raising money for tornado relief in Joplin.
The students are from College Hill Elementary.
Friday morning, he presented the students with a check for $10 grand and got his glass of lemonade.
So far, the students have raised more than $13,000 to help buy school supplies for kids in the tornado-ravaged town of Joplin, Missouri.
So, how was the lemonade? Holland says it was the perfect day for it...and it was worth every penny.
