(HARVEY COUNTY, Kan.) — An Iowa man dies after being trapped under a large bale of hay in Harvey County.
Authorities were called to 1828 N. Rock Road in Harvey County just at 9:35am Wednesday morning.
A truck driver from Dave Ray Inc trucking had been getting ready to unload hay bales when 13 bales came off the flat bed.
One of the bales landed on top of the driver. He has been identified as 51-year-old Dennis Augustin of Dubuque, Iowa. Augustin was transported to the Newton Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
