Storm Team 12: Toasty weekend

some storms

August 06, 2011|By Meteorologist Rodney Price

A few storms are possible this evening with more chances developing overnight.  Lows will drop mainly to the 70s across Kansas, with 60s in the far northwest.

On Sunday, we expect a warm front to lift northward into central Kansas.  This will separate 90s to the north from triple digits to the south.  A few storms will again be possible late in the day.

More storms are possible on Monday, with a downward trend expected in our temperatures.  After Monday, we'll see highs in the 80s and 90s, instead of triple digits.
