Kinsley man dies in accident in Edwards County

(KINSLEY, Kan.) — A Kinsley man dies after a crash Tuesday in Edwards County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the accident happened around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon on U Road just east of 100th Avenue, southeast of Kinsley.

Investigators say 42-year-old Marvin Gleason was coming out of some curves on U Road, when his car went into the south ditch and he lost control. The car flipped and hit a light pole. Investigators say the car landed on its roof with the driver underneath.

Gleason was taken to an Edward's County Hospital where he died. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt.
