There is a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m. for southern Kansas. It includes Wichita, El Dorado, Hutch, Garden City, Dodge City and Great Bend.
Very large hail (up to 3” in diameter) and damaging winds (greater than 75 mph) are the main concerns.
