In a news release, the Dodge City Police Chief says Ausberto Baez-Rivera surrendered to officers in Chowchilla, California, early Tuesday morning. It's the same place where his car was found Monday outside his mother's home.

Dodge City Police are asking for the publics help in finding a man wanted in a kidnapping.
On Saturday a warrant was issued for 20-year-old Ausberto Baez-Rivera. He's accused of kidnapping a woman from a home at 907 Ave. D in Dodge City. When the woman saw a police vehicle she was able to escape from Rivera and run to the officers. Rivera fled on foot and has not been found.
