Storm Team 12: A little hotter Sunday

August 27, 2011|By Chief Meteorologist Merril Teller

A few showers over southern Kansas will end early this evening.  Thunderstorms in Colorado will spread some clouds across Kansas overnight, but little or no rainfall is expected to get this far east.

Temperatures will be a little hotter
on Sunday, with highs ranging from the lower 90s in the northeast to triple digits over the southwest and central sections of the state.  Another cold front will push into the state, bringing  storms chances late Sunday through the first half of Monday.  We'll also see our highs dropping back to the 80s and lower 90s at the start of the work week.
