WICHITA, Kan. — A 19-year-old woman is hospitalized after she is accidentally shot in the face with a 12 gauge flare gun.
It happened 4:00am Sunday, on the 1100 block of S. Lillac.
The victim was treated for a broken sinus bone, several chipped teeth, and laceration to her right cheek.
Two other people gave police the same story. Two 12 gauge flare guns were seized at the scene.
