After a record breaking summer, the triple digits have finally come to an end and MUCH cooler temperatures are here to stay, providing Kansas with a preview to fall.

Highs in the 70s will be about 10-15 degrees below normal for this time of year. The north wind will be gusty through afternoon, but should subside during the early evening hours.
A cool night tonight, perfect for opening up the windows and airing out the house. A chilly start to Labor Day with morning lows in the lower 40s to near 50 degrees.
Expect the cooler temperatures to stick around for Labor Day holiday with sunshine all around the region and highs in the 70s to near 80.
