Possible methamphetamine lab found in Wal-Mart parking lot

(WICHITA, Kan.) — The west KelloggWal-Mart remains open this afternoon as emergency crews continue to investigate a possible mobile meth lab.

Police tell Eyewitness News someone called 911 to report a suspicous character in the parking lot. When officers arrived on scene, they found suspicious chemicals in the back of car. The car had been reported as stolen.

The clandestine drug team has been called in to investigate.

While the store continues to operate, firefighters have closed the west entrance as a precaution to keep the wind from blowing the chemicals indoors.

So far, no arrests have been made.
