Over the next several days, temperatures and south winds will continue to increase in advance of a much stronger storm system hitting the west coast.
Clear skies are expected tonight, and it will be a mainly sunny day on Monday. Some high clouds will drift in during the afternoon and temperatures are expected to be near 90 for much of the state.
There will be more wind for Tuesday with temperatures near 90 once again, but the area will remain dry.
Scattered storms will be possible in central and western Kansas Wednesday afternoon, but the chance for rain looks a little better by the end of the week as a Pacific storm system heads for the Rockies and the central US. Stay tuned.
