LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) - — Kansas coach Turner Gill brought a simple message to his team this week.
Believe.
The Jayhawks have been routed by Georgia Tech, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State, and all the good will that came from two early wins has slipped away. Things aren't going to get any easier this week with third-ranked Oklahoma coming to town.
That's why Gill is preaching to his team to believe.
The game Saturday night will be nationally televised, and Gill knows there's a chance things could go poorly for the Jayhawks. But he also knows it's a tremendous opportunity to get things going the right direction, too.
