Scattered showers over Kansas will be winding down just after midnight, with decreasing clouds early Tuesday.
Frost advisories have been issued for much of western Kansas for Tuesday morning with lows expected to drop into the mid 30s. Tender plants should be covered up or moved indoors to protect them from the colder temperatures. Highs Tuesday afternoon will be near 60 with gusty north winds in the afternoon.
Wednesday will be another cool day with sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 50s. Frost is likely Wednesday night over the entire state as the winds die down and the skies remain clear. Additional frost/freeze advisories are expected later in the week.
