(DODGE CITY, Kan.) — Work is already beginning on the site that will be the permanent home of the 3i agriculture trade show.

The Dodge City Expo Center will be located at the corner of U.S. Highway 283 and the U.S. 56/400 bypass. The center will feature a large indoor exhibit space, as well as one million square feet of outdoor exhibit space.

Plans for the center were announced over the summer, when the 3i Show announced that it would permanently locate in Dodge City. For the past six decades the show had alternated between Great Bend and Garden City.

The 3i Show is run by the Western Kansas Manufacturers Association, which is based in Dodge City. They say, for the first time, vendors will be able to build permanent structures on the center grounds.
