(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita police arrest a husband and wife who they say broke into several cars in Old Town late Thursday.
An officer saw the two creeping around, peering into car windows and taking a purse from a car at the garage south of Old Chicago.When the officer confronted them, they took off running, got into a car and drove away.
The officer caught the two after a brief chase. Both were arrested.
Officers recovered several items from different thefts. They're trying to determine when the other thefts and/or burglaries may have taken place.
