(WICHITA, Kan.) — A fire causes $130,000 damage to a west Wichita mosque. Fire crews were called to the building fire at the corner of Taft and Knight around 12:45 Monday morning.

Crews were greeted with heavy smoke and flames coming from the Islamic Association of Mid-Kansas mosque. It was so intense, crews could only fight it from the outside.
Wichita fire officials say the FBI and ATF are also involved in the investigation. Those agencies are involved because the fire took place at a religious meeting place.
No one was in the building at the time and no one was hurt. Investigators are looking for a cause.
