Wichita woman branded by boyfriend

(WICHITA, Kan.) — A Wichita woman was beaten up and branded by her boyfriend.  Monday night police responded to the battery call in the 7100 block of west shade.

Once they arrived, the woman told police her boyfriend punched and kicked her about 30 times with his fists, brush, aerosol can and poked her with a knife in the chest.  She says he also heated up a fork on the stove and branded her left shoulder.

The woman went to the hospital with her eye swollen shut. Once  admitted doctors found she also had broken bones in her nose.  Police  have issued a warrant for her boyfriend's arrest.
