(CHAPMAN, Kan.) — A Chapman man missing for several days was found dead. Tuesday authorities found 72-year-old Roy Conrad about 200 yards from his home.
Friends reported Conrad missing because no one had heard from him since Sunday. He was insulin dependent and was known to become confused and disoriented. The Dickinson County Sheriff's Department says it appears Conrad walked away from his residence without his medication and no personal items.
Friends and neighbors searched the area for him. A neighbor says when he was found, he was covered in brush and appeared to have fallen down a short ravine. There were no signs of foul play, but an autopsy is being done to determine his cause of death.
