Storm Team 12: Bright but brisk

November 03, 2011|By Meteorologist Mark Larson

As the Wednesday winter weather-maker speeds away from the central plains this afternoon look for sunny skies and a diminishing wind.  It will be chilly too as afternoon highs only climb into the mid-40s to near 50 degrees.

Gusty southerly winds will return Friday along with highs warming back into the upper 50s and mid-60s.

Right now our weekend looks mild with gusty winds Saturday followed by a calmer Sunday.

Another strong storm system will sweep out into the Midwest Monday bringing more chances for rain, storms and snow for some.
