WICHITA, Kan. — The Missouri Comets held Wichita scoreless in overtime to keep the Wings from their first win in the new fanchise's history, falling 16-14.
Lamar Beasley led the scoring with three goals for Wichita. Missouri's Geison had five, including the game winner in overtime.
The Comets score first but the Wings responded with a Larry Inlow goal, the first of the new franchise's history. It was tied 6-6 at halftime and remained a back and forth battle until the end, tied again 14-14.
The Wings head up to Missouri Friday night for their first away game.
