Oklahoma man killed in Sumner County crash

(SUMNER COUNTY, Kan.) — A man from Oklahoma dies after an accident Thursday in Sumner County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened just before 3:00 p.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 166 about seven miles east of South Haven.

Investigators say 49-year-old Timothy Duane Gibbs was driving his car east on Highway 166 when he passed another vehicle, hit some gravel, and rolled his car. Gibbs was from Marlow, Oklahoma. He died at the scene.
