WICHITA, Kan. — The Thunder scored once in the second and once in the third period but couldn't find their late magic and fell to Missouri, 4-2 at INTRUST Bank Arena Friday night.
It was the first loss of the season.
Wichita (4-1) will travel to Kansas City Saturday to complete the home and away series.
Thomas Beauregard was the first to score for the Thunder in the second period. Too bad Missouri was already up 2-0 after big goals in the first.
Adam Russo took the loss, stopping 14 of 17 shots. Gerry Festa took the win, denying 37 of 39 shots.
