Dense fog this morning across southeast Kansas has lifted, however clouds remain. Once again, low clouds will keep most of the state from seeing much sunshine throughout the day today, except northwest Kansas where the sun will shine most of the day. South winds will also be on the increase, gusting to over 25 mph during the afternoon. Highs will be in the 40s statewide. Still cool, but just about normal for this time of year.
Clouds will hang around tonight and Monday with temperatures expected to be in the 20s to mid 30s tonight and 40s for most of the state on Monday.
Clouds will persist into the middle of the work week for most. Light rain chances will develop by Tuesday but an even better chance will be around for Wednesday. Don't be shocked if you hear some rumbles of thunder in central and eastern Kansas too!
