The City of Wichita is reminding people that some offices will be closed for the Christmas holiday.
Closed Saturday through Monday are City Hall, Park and Recreation centers, Wichita Public Library locations, Watson Park, Great Plains Nature Center, Neighborhood City Halls, Old Cowtown Museum, Century II administrative offices, CityArts and the Mid-America All-Indian Center.
Additional closures include the following:
The Wichita Art Museum, closed Sunday and Monday;
Botanica, closed Saturday and Sunday;
Riverside Tennis Center, closed Saturday and Sunday;
The Animal Shelter (open from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday), closed Sunday and Monday;
City of Wichita Golf courses, closed Sunday;
Wichita Transit (regular Saturday schedule on Saturday), closed Sunday and Monday. Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday.
