(COWLEY COUNTY, Kan.) — A man is critically injured after a crash in Cowley County.
It happened around 4pm Wednesday afternoon approximately four miles east of Hackney. Authorities say a vehicle was westbound when the driver lost control, slid off the roadway and hit a telephone pole.
The 22-year-old driver of the car was air-lifted to a hospital in Wichita in critical condition. A passenger in the vehicle was not hurt.
