(OLATHE, Johnson County) — Olathe police say a 6-year-old boy taken by his father has been found safe in the Platte City area.
Police say Kalvin Jacob Willis was taken by his father, Aaron Jacob Willis, after an incident with his girlfriend Thursday afternoon.
The father was found with the boy Friday morning. KCTV in Kansas City reports the elder Willis made several comments threatening to harm himself.
The Kansas Bureau of Investigations asked for the public's help in finding the boy but no Amber Alert was issued.
