(WICHITA, Kan.) — Wichita police are looking for a man who they believe tried to kidnap a 13-year-old girl. A woman reports that her daughter was approached at 12th and Cleveland while waiting for the school bus Friday morning.
The girl says that a man drove up and asked her to get into his vehicle. She said no and walked up to a friend's house. The girl says the man followed her in his car, then waited until she walked inside the house.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 25-30 years old, heavy build, dark complexion wearing a black jacket and white pants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
