Quiet weather is expected for all of Kansas the next few days as temperatures continue to be above normal for the end of January.
Mostly clear skies should prevail overnight and expect a decent amount of sunshine for Thursday. Highs will end up between 50 and 55 for much of the state with wind speeds under 20 mph.
The next system will be heading this way on Friday with a cold front sweeping across the state. Winds will increase from the north with skies turning mostly cloudy. Although a sprinkle or flurry is possible in western Kansas during the afternoon, measurable precipitation is not likely.
Temperatures will be colder for Saturday with highs near 40.
