This afternoon a strong front will drop all the way into Oklahoma ushering in a fresh surge of Arctic air. Afternoon highs will tumble back into the 20s and 30s with a mix of clouds and sun around our state. Look for some flurries in the northwest. Gusty northerly winds will also blow in behind the front Friday.
We can expect even colder temperatures tonight and into Saturday as afternoon highs struggle to reach the teens and 20s! A few flurries or light snow will be possible out west. Much better, and more widespread, snow chances are on the way for the west Sunday. Then look for the snow to plow eastward Sunday night into Monday morning.
Bottom line - it appears winter's finally here, at least for a few days so stay tuned for additional updates.
