Another storm system is on the way to Kansas but before it gets here we will enjoy some sunshine and milder temperatures this afternoon. Expect highs to climb into the mid-40s for the central and east and low 50s across western Kansas. South winds will be under 15 mph from the during the afternoon.
Our next weather-maker will arrive Wednesday bringing rain chances to central and eastern Kansas and areas of freezing drizzle, flurries or light snow to the northwest. Heavy snow is not expected over the northwest but some roads could become slick during the afternoon.
Thursday should be dry and mild with highs in the mid to upper-40s under a partly cloudy sky.
