The clouds and rain showers will move out overnight, leaving behind sunshine and milder weather going into Thursday.
Temperatures tonight will be as cold as the upper teens in the northwest, to mid 20s across southcentral Kansas. The wind will die down tonight.
High pressure will set up over Kansas on Thursday, keeping the winds light and allowing for mostly sunny skies during the day. Highs will be close to 50 for much of the state with light winds throughout the afternoon.
Temperatures will get a little warmer on Friday ahead of the next cold front that is coming in from the north.
