Storm Team 12: Blue skies, mild temps

Sunshine, light winds and comfortable temperatures are forecast this afternoon as highs climb to near near 50 degrees.

High pressure will set up over Kansas Thursday and will still be near Friday ensuring quiet weather before the next cold front arrives from the north Friday night. Afternoon highs Friday will warm into the low to mid-50s.

Another fast-moving weather-maker is expected to roll into our region Sunday into Monday bringing another round of rain and snow chances to Kansas.

Tonight:  Mostly clear and chilly.  Wind: NE/SE 5-10.  Low: 28.

Tomorrow:  Mostly sunny to partly cloudy.  Wind: SE/S 5-15.  High: 52.

Tomorrow night:  Increasing clouds; patchy drizzle/flurries possible.  Wind: SE/NE 5-10.  Low: 29.
