Afternoon highs today will warm into the low to mid-50s along with increasing clouds and modest southerly winds.
Late Friday a storm system will plow across the southern Plains and bring a chance for rain showers to southwest Kansas by afternoon. Scattered rain showers are on the way Friday night across southern Kansas with rain changing to snow in the southwest. Accumulating snow is not expected and the rain and snow chances will end early Saturday morning.
Look for decreasing clouds Saturday afternoon but cooler afternoon highs in the mid-40s.
Another fast-moving weather-maker is expected to roll into our region Sunday into Monday bringing yet another round of rain and snow chances to Kansas.
