(WICHITA, Kan.) — A fire that occurred Tuesday is being investigated as arson and a burglary according to Captain Stuart Bevis with the Wichita Fire Department.
Crews worked to put out the fire located at 2200 block of South Stoneybrook yesterday morning at about 10 a.m..
A Wichita Police report says that someone went in through the front door and stole two television sets.
The suspect also caused heavy damage to one room upstairs in the house.
Damage is estimated at $100,000: $75,000 to the structure of the home and $25,000 for the contents.
No one was hurt in the fire.
