HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 58 year old woman is airlifted to a Wichita hospital after she crashes her car north of Hutchinson.
The accident happened near 56th avenue & Plum St around 5:30am Saturday.
The Reno County Sheriff's Department reports the driver crossed the center line for an unknown reason. The vehicle the entered a ditch, striking a mailbox and culvert before going airborne, then striking a second culvert.
The 58 year old driver was transported by EMS to Hutchinson Regional Hospital, before being airlifted to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
It is not known if the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
