SEDGWICK COUNTY, Kan. — Traffic is moving once again on the Kansas Turnpike after a rollover accident shuts down one of the north bound lanes.

The accident happened shortly before 10:00am on Sunday, near the Haysville/Derby exit of I-35.

Witnesses tell the Kansas Highway Patrol that a vehicle left the interstate for an unknown reason before rolling several times and landing on its top.

One person was flown to Wesley Medical Center by EagleMed, the other two were transported by EMS.

Officials with Wesley report the 8 year old girl is currently in critical condition.  The other two people in the car, a man and woman, are both in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
