(WICHITA, Kan.) — Brooke Minor, 22, was hired as an Office Manager for the NCAA 2012 Men's Final Four in New Orleans. It was her dream job.

Kansas was her favorite team and it was her dream to meet Bill Self and the team. But Minor passed away just two months before seeing her dream turn into reality.

Minor died in January from cancer. NCAA officials had a moment of silence and put her picture on the scoreboard inside the Superdome to pay tribute to her.

Brooke's mother Laurie wrote a letter to Coach Bill Self to inspire his team during March Madness.
